Getting Old
Reality of age arrives when you least expect it...at the local Long john Silvers I ordered and the teen asked "Sr Discount-Right.?"Well yes but ..(everyone says I don't look my age, )I guess most of those folks are my age. Anyway I wondered out loud "Do I look that old?" She looked down at the register and said absolutely nothing she knew she had hit a nerve... the silence was deafening would I opt for economics or vanity?....

I am thankful to be here to grow old! There are people who have never made it as far as we have already!
